Who Gives a Funk by Oz Noy
Bought this after hearing/seeing Oz Noy on a video with Ozone Squeeze (more on that later). Oz Noy is a wonder funk/rock guitarist with mucho chops, and the album is mostly instrumental: recipe for disaster, actually, but to my surprise it works, mostly. Oz knows when to hold back enough that guests are allowed to shine and the groove is put first (with guitar wizardry a good second). Not an unforgettable album, but a very pleasant listen.
