In Utero by Chris Gooch
I heard about In Utero from some "best of 2024 graphic novels" list or other. It feels like a young adult graphic novel in many ways, but is waaaaaay creepier than any YA comic I've read before. It's set in a derelict building where a kids camp on the cheap is being run by unscrupulous people. Except that there are things in that building that make it undoubtedly unsuitable for anyone to be around, let alone snooping kids... I don't know if I'd put it in my list of best reads for 2024 (or any other year for that matter), but it's certainly fun, yucky at times and original.
