Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey
Having loved The Expanse TV series, I was naturally inclined to pick up the books that the series was adapted from. It's a mild disappointment, mostly because the writing isn't very exciting. The story is engrossing (and the TV series adapted it very faithfully) but stylistically it's delivered without flair. I'll read the rest (I got the first three books) but I'll be waiting for Season 2 of The Expanse with much more anticipation.
