Order of the Stick v2 by Rich Burlew
This second (and much heftier) tome of Order of the Stick is when things get serious. The jokes take a backseat (although they're still there) to an actual plot and increasing character depth. It's engrossing although it's also where OOTS' lack of narrative efficiency starts to appear. One the one hand, great value for money, it takes hours to read. On the other, it's often too slow going. That's part of what you get in the OOTS package. Still worth it.
