Vive la Marée! by Rabaté and Prudhomme
This is decidedly one of the oddest graphic novels I've ever read. Essentially, Vive la Marée! is a like one super long traveling shot on a seaside town in the summer. There are no main characters, there's no plot, we travel the waterfront and the beach, encountering the denizens of the seaside on a summer day. Hard to form an opinion in the end, other than it's very well made. It fells like a sociological experiment. Interesting, for sure.
