Space Dumplins by Craig Thompson
I loved both Thompson's ambiguous Blankets and his gorgeous and tragic Habibi. Space Dumplins could not be further removed from either, both graphically and story wise. Goodbye clean lines and monochrome, hello bubbly characters and bright colours. Space Dumplins is a fun romp targeted at young adults but delightful for all. Violet doesn't quite unthrone Zita for me, but if you're looking for a good time read, this is it.
