Culcha Vulcha by Snarky Puppy
The latest Snarky Puppy is not all that different from the previous albums (Family Dinners excepted), but I'm not sure that's a good thing. It's a very pleasant listen, mind you, but nothing really sticks out. GroundUp had Thing of Gold and Quarter Master, Tell Your Friends had Ready Wednesday, We Like it Here had Shofukan. After a couple of listens of Culcha Vulcha, none of the tunes have stayed with me. I'll probably give it a few more listens, but so far it's a bit meh.
