The Hanging Tree by Ben Aaronovitch
This is the 6th novel in the Rivers of London series. Each time I fear this one will end my irrational love for the series, but no. It's the same mix of policing work, fantasy, love of London and dry wit. And it still works, although I wish the overarching plot had advanced a bit more in this one (we find things out about the Faceless Man, but no conclusion is reached). Aside from this little frustration, this is the best in entertaining fiction.
