DC: The New Frontier by Darwyn Cooke
While graphically gorgeous, I found this graphic novel to be narratively confused (and confusing). Clearly, an intimate knowledge of the DC-verse is a prerequisite (that I lack) and the whole thing is hugely referential. It's not a bad read, but very frustrating for the casual comic reader that I am (in a way that Kingdom Come wasn't).
