Inception
Believe it or not, I had not seen Inception until very recently. Like all things that have been lauded for so long, expectations are high, and I'm afraid beyond a pleasant 2 hours, Inception did not meet those expectations. The world building is impressive, and the visuals are very cool (for the most part), but there are no characters in this story, no one stands out. It's not an acting problem, it's a script and dialog problem. So, entertaining, but with no lasting power.
