Night Witch by Aaaronovitch, Cartmel, Sullivan
So the first graphic novel from the Rivers of London series was not to my liking. This second one is a significantly better plot wise, but the artwork is still bad (to the point that you can't distinguish between major characters.) I'm starting to wonder however if there simply isn't a medium issue. A lot of the magic and supernatural stuff in the novels is a little wacky, but because you're left to imagine it, it doesn't feel that way. Once it's drawn, it looks plain silly. Which is maybe why I enjoyed this one more : there's very little magic on display.
