Oddly titled Mr. Blake at Your Service! In English, this French movie with John Malkovitch playing in French is an unexpected as it is fun. Malkovitch plays a successful businessman whose French wife passed away recently. He can't get over the loss and decides to go to the French property where he met his wife all these years ago. He ends up working for the owner, a widow herself and struggling to keep the domain afloat. It's undoubtedly a comedy, with subtle moments and very unsubtle moments, with Malkovitch speaking his halted but charming French, and most of the other roles quite delightful. Unexpectedly fun.
