I have written before how the Thursday Murder Club was a guilty pleasure of mine, a series that might not stand the test of time as far as classic whodunnits go, but that I enjoy reading immensely. Osman has taken a break from that series to start a new one, and "We Solve Murders" is the first of this new series. Our two lead characters are Amy, an emotionally guarded high-end bodyguard, and Steve, her father-in-law, ex-cop and widower. Steve is the only person in whom Amy truly confides, and Amy is the only person Steve opens up to. When events precipitate that put Amy's life in imminent danger, they team up to figure what the hell is going on, with a modern-day Agatha Christie in tow. We Solve Murders is just as entertaining as the Thursday Murder Clubs, but a bit less distinctive. A fun read therefore, and I'm likely to pick up the subsequent ones for the fun of it, but if you have to choose, read the Thursday Murder Club series instead.
