Sandman presents: Death, the high cost of living
I was surprised (given the real life circumstances around Gaiman) that they would go the extra mile and adapt an adjacent one-shot to the Sandman series, but I'm glad they did. In fact, this is the most faithful adaptation of the whole series, I think, and it packs just as much emotional punch as the original. It also stands entirely on its own, so even if you don't want to watch the whole Sandman series, I'd recommend watching this one. They had to adjust things, in particular make Sexton an adult because (I guess) a teenager considering suicide would be too much for Netflix, but it's really well done.
