L’homme au sang bleu by Léo Malet
I don't know how Malet envisaged his series early on, but this novel is not set in or around Paris like most of the other Burma novels but rather on the Côte d'Azur in Cannes. It's got sunshine, plenty of girls and several old acquaintances of Burma whose presence spices things up a bit. Not super memorable, but enjoyable enough.
