Wolfwalkers
My daughter insisted we should see this, that it was awesome and so beautiful, and while I wouldn't necessarily have called it awesome, it's really good and beautiful. Set in 16th century Ireland, it tells the story of a young girl's whose English father came over with the Lord Protector. His task is to hunt down and eliminate the wolves from the nearby forest, but his daughter soon discovers that they're not just wolves, but a family of Wolfwalkers, humans who when they fall asleep develop of wolf body double. She gets bitten by one and... things get complicated from there on. While fairly predictable, the story is well paced and entertaining. The voice overs are gorgeous with Sean Bean a very good wolf hunter. The Irish accents are authentic and gorgeous. A very nifty animation movie, suitable for kids above 8 I would say.
