The World is a Ghetto by War
In my explorations of 70s funk, I had disregarded War because 30 years ago when I bought my first Lee Oskar harmonicas I'd checked their music and it was so much not what I expected of a harmonica player that I'd dismissed entirely. Listening to The World is a Ghetto now I find a very groovy band with a harmonica player that plays the role of a horn player in most instances. If you don't know it, you could miss it. But the funk is funky and the album very pleasant.
