The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
I don't think I reread this since I initially delved into the books in the 90s. I didn't realise at the time how much of a cultural icon the book was, so rereading it now is a little bit different from that point of view. On the one hand, it hasn't aged very well, with lots of tired references and a style of humour that now falls flat quite often. On the other hand, the imagination and references to classic science-fiction are timeless, and the peak Adams moment that we all know and love are a joy to read through. And I did chuckle more often than not, which is rarely the case with anything I read these days.
