Cordelia's Honor by Lois McMaster Bujold

The Honor Harrington books by David Weber is a guilty pleasure of mine: pseudo Sci-Fi adventures that we would (in French) call trainstation literature: entertaining if not particularly enlightening. Cordelia's Honor is in the same vein (and with the same publisher) although slightly more forward thinking. This first couple of books (collected here under one cover) are a fair romp, and probably mean I will add a second guilty pleasure series to my list (for when I take trains or planes...)
