Head Lopper by Andrew McLean
Another fantastic purchase made on a whim (in Real Groovy in Auckland). What first attracted me was the graphic style, slightly reminiscent of Mignola and French artist Brüno. But the story is really cool, it's epic Sword and Sorcery, full of flavour and darkness. It's really one of the best things I've read in that genre, and I heartily recommend it if you're into fantasy.
