Les Vieux Fourneaux by Lupano and Cauuet t1-4
A wonderful series that for some reason eluded me for a long time. The intertwined stories of three old men, an undefatigable anarchist, a globetrotting ex-rugbyman and the grandfather of young Sophie who is now pregnant (no one knows who the father is). The stories are funny, humane and very modern in that they touch on many themes that are in the news everyday (despite everything happening in a small rural village in Southern France). Truly superb and highly recommended (to French speakers, obviously...)
