Moan Snake Moan by Bror Gunnar Jansson
I might have distantly heard about this guy but it was really the unusual cover that attracted me. Jansson's music is a raw kind of blues/rock, alternating between acoustic and electric. And eclectic. It's mostly in your face, but there are moments of subtlety as well. Jansson's voice is powerful but rather high pitched, which conveys an endearing oddness to his music. He's in the same vein as Seasick Steve, but more consistent, I would say. Good stuff.
