Fuzzy by Oz Noy
I enjoyed Oz Noy's Who Gives a Funk while recognizing it wasn't a groundbreaking album in any way. Instrumental funk isn't easy to keep exciting for an album's length, after all, despite all of Mr. Noy's undeniable guitar talents. Fuzzy, although it predates it, is more of the same and in fact lacks a certain pizzazz that I thought the more recent album had in spades. I can't quite decide if it's down to the music or to the production, but I felt Fuzzy was a bit flat. I'll probably have to revisit it at a later date to see if that impression persists.
