Beasts of Burden - Animal Rites by Jill Thompson
Found this in a second hand bookstore in Devonport, NZ. Bought it because I like Jill Thompson. Didn't know what to make of it a first, but as the story progressed, I started liking it more and more. The pitch? A bunch of dogs investigate weird things happening in their neighborhood and end up fighting supernatural and creepy stuff. There's a certain naiveté to it which is refreshing, and interesting revisit of some horror tropes. Not the best comic out there, but a decent read. I think this would make a good short RPG premise too...
