I'd read a chunk of SFP online but decided it'd be worth getting the paper version to get back into it. I've always loved my superhero comics to raise interesting questions about the nature of superheroes and their impact on society, and boy does SFP deliver. I'm assuming (the title being what it is) that gender issues will become more important going forward, but in this first volume the key questions really revolve around superheroes and what they mean (and what they can and cannot do). Alisson is a really powerful super who revealed herself and "quit" when she realised that it was all a shitshow that had little impact. Now she's dealing with trying to be normal.
