The End by Zep

The End by Zep

I had been pleasantly surprised by Zep's Une Histoire d'Hommes, his first foray into "serious" graphic novels. It wasn't perfect but it was compelling. The End suffers from similar issues: it's a long format story and yet the pacing is somehow wrong. The topic and delivery are interesting and effective, but it's like Zep doesn't really know how to structure a story for the greatest effectiveness. Still worth a read, I think, but maybe not a purchase.
