I hadn't seen Willow since I first saw it at the cinema back in 1988 (new year's eve if I recall). Visually it has not aged well, and the special effects look at best clunky by today's standards. But if you manage to abstract that, it's a pretty fun romp of a fairy tale. I certainly had fun watching it with my 6 year old daughter.
