Eric Clapton Life in 12 Bars

Eric Clapton Life in 12 Bars

I'm not a huge fan of Clapton's music, which (with the exception of his Mayall and Cream periods) I find mostly derivative and not wholly inspired. Still, he's a statesman of the blues, perhaps the only white statesman of the blues, and I had heard some good things about this documentary. It hasn't made me love his music more, but it has made me understand why. It's an excellent documentary, even if you're not a fan of Clapton or blues. It's moving at times, and hard to imagine a life of such tragedy.
