Upstart Crow Season 2
I watched Upstart Crow S1 last year and didn't find it particularly funny. Still, remembering that Blackadder S1 wasn't particularly funny either, I decided to give S2 a chance, and I'm glad I did. Either the show is growing on me or the writing and themes are really improving, but I felt this second season to be much superior to the first one. Of course, it's challenging for someone who doesn't know Shakespeare all that well, because I'm clearly missing a lot of references. Still, I enjoyed watching it and will now try to track down Season 3.
