Another record I bought purely on a whim, intrigued by the idea of a 70s blend of jazz and traditional greek music. In actual fact this has more in common with progressive rock than it has with jazz fusion (but to be fair the frontier between the two wasn't all that clear in the 70s). It's really good stuff. I struggle at times to really hear the specific greekness in the music. It's definitely Eastern Mediterranean. It's also pulsating, and sounds very modern even to this day. A good musical surprise.
