The Adventure Zone: Here There Be Gerblins by McElroy(s) and Pietch
Order of the Stick proved that you can do parody of RPG stories and still infuse emotion and meaningful tension into such a story. Adventure Zone follows in those footsteps but with nowhere near the same success. Where it fails (I feel) is both in the fact that none of the characters are very likeable, and in too frequent real world references that detract from a story with very little depth to begin with. It was worth a try, but I won't be pursuing further.
