Foundation by Isaac Asimov
There's no trace of any rereads of this SciFi classic in my reviews that started in 2015, so my last reread must predate that. I had fond memories of the book's starting point, but also a remembered impression of it not having aged very well. Having quickly gone through the first tome, I have a slightly more positive outlook. In particular, this vintage feel is something I see a bit more positively now. Sure, Asimov's sexism is as blatant as ever in the absolute absence of any female character of importance in this first volume, but in that he was (sadly) a man of his times. The rest though stands the text of time I think. It's such a shame they decided to throw it all out the window in the TV adaptation...
