Friends with Boys by Faith Erin Hicks

Friends with Boys by Faith Erin Hicks

I've read quite a few of Faith Eric Hicks' books, and Friends with Boys, while probably a little more mature than others, treads common grounds around adolescence, trust, socialisation and similar themes. Maggie has been homeschooled until it's time for high school, her mother just left home, she's super nervous about going to school for the first time and... a local graveyard ghost is stalking her. Along the ride, she'll understand her brothers better, make friends and... struggle with the ghost stuff. It's a fun read, although forgettable, I fear.
