Les flibustiers de la mer chimique by Marguerite Imbert

Les flibustiers de la mer chimique by Marguerite Imbert

I read this on the recommendations of the infamous Gromovar, and while I really enjoyed it, I expected something more meaningful. As it stands, les filibusters de la mer chimique (the buccaneers of the chemical sea) is a post-apocalyptic adventure novel set primarily (though not only) in a submarine. Nothing wrong with that, there's a strong Jules Verne vibe, plenty of references, it's delightfully written but I expected more of a punch, I guess.
