The Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien
I can't remember if it's the 5th or 6th time I read the Lord of the Rings, but I still find so much that I never found or forgot that it is still a delight. I guess as I get older I see more of the scaffolding that underlies the story, and I am just as impressed with the construction of it as I am with its power of evocation. I'm glad to find also that apart from a few images (Gandalf, Gollum mainly) the movie hasn't altered my imagined landscape of LoTR.
