I'm only six months late talking about this concert. This was a very weird concert for me, just the night when I found out that I was likely to have a major health issue (since then hopefully resolved). Let's just say that in order to get me to forget what I had just learned that day, CQMD was going to have to funk me up through the roof. And they did. I particuarly loved the more adlib bits when they just came down in the middle of the audience and jammed to hell and back. They didn't just showcase songs from their new album, they also had a few guests to help them revisit the old classics. It was only my second CQMD concert, and I can say with 100% certainty on the basis of both of these that CQMD's special brand of brassy, twangy funk never dissapoints live.
