Nod Away by Joshua W. Cotter
Nod Away is an ambitious Science-Fiction story, the kind which is unusual in comic book format. This isn't space opera. Melody is a scientist sent to a space station to work on the evolution of the Innernet, a network that connects people's brains directly. The book explores three directions (the social interaction on the station, the societal and moral implications of the innernet technology and some weird shit that happens on the station) as well as a secondary story about a man on a dry planet we know practically nothing about. As the book ended I felt angry that it seem to not conclude meaningfully. That's when I discovered it was a first volume (of 7 planned!). Now I'm just frustrated. I will definitely wait impatiently for the next installment.
