Pale Communion by Opeth
This is the second album that my good friend Marcus sent me for xmas. Looking at the Opeth entry on Wikipedia, I was expecting something not dissimilar to Haken, I guess, with ambitious progressive metal compositions. It's not exactly what I found. Pale Communion is easy listening, so quite pleasant in that sense, but not very ambitious. In the end I find that while I don't mind listening to it, nothing sticks.
