Burglar by Freddie King
I've come pretty late to Freddie King. I saw him as a guitar hero, and guitar histrionics are not what I like in my blues. But I shorthanded him quite a bit. Burglar is the second King album I get, and it's surprisingly modern: a very funky sound, warmed up with a horn section, and while King's biting guitar sound is really something else, it doesn't take too much space. The only downside of the album is how short it is.
