Astro City #2: Confessions by Kurt Busiek
Confessions is the first "long format" story in the Astro City run and it runs deep. Busiek has an incredible ability to use some of the most outlandish aspects of superhero comics (freakish powers, aliens, etc.) in a believable way. More importantly, his stories, when they are about the heroes themselves (as they are here) focus on their human side. Confession is deep and powerful. Excellent stuff.
