Et si le diable le permet by Cédric Ferrand
A pleasant adventure novel with a touch of fantasy (but less than I expected, and it's a good thing). Set in 1930s Montreal, the novel plunges us in the underbelly of a booming city hit by the great recession. Ferrand describes the cultural rifts between French and English speaking Canadians with a delightful touch. A fun read.
