FATE Core System
After a convincing test game with my friend Stuart I decided to purchase the (dirt cheap) PDF of Fate Core and later even got the hardcover version. As far as generic systems go, Fate seems to me both emininently adaptable and relatively unbiased although the openness of the resolution mechanics and the aspects / stunts requires a good social contract between players for more serious games, I suspect. Still, I have at least two projects in the back of my mind that could easily be adapted to Fate Core. Good stuff.
