The Bletchley Circle Season 1
This series about four women who worked on cracking codes at Bletchley Park during WW2 and are now back to civilian life is quite unusual and very dark and moody. Aside from the obvious theme of crime investigation, there's an underlying current of frustration for these bright minds who are relegated post-war to stay-at-home mom roles or menial jobs. It's very well done (although some of the investigation "methods" are either confusing or nonsensical, I couldn't quite decide) and as an added bonus features Rachael Stirling (who I loved in Detectorists). Very much worth your while.
