The Monuments Men

This unusual war movie had everything to be a great success including but not limited to an amazing cast and a different angle (the characters are part of a real life team that was sent to retrieve artwork stolen by the nazis at the end of the war) and yet... it never really works. It's pleasant, but not gripping (even when it should be), the characters are caricatures of the actors playing them. It wasn't unpleasant, but it could have been so much more... I'll fall back on the book, recommended a long time ago by Cédric Ferrand. I think it could make a fascinating setting for a Godlike game...
