Blazing Saddles
For some reason (and despite having seen a good number of Mel Brooks' movies in my youth) I'd missed Blazing Saddles. This story of a black sheriff in a white far west community was meant (I guess) as a humorous take on race relations, and it definitely works at times although a lot of it feels wrong by today's standards. Brooks' brand of humour isn't exactly subtle, so only go there if you like your laughs "in your face".
