La Nuit de l'Inca by Vehlmann & Duchazeau

La Nuit de l'Inca by Vehlmann & Duchazeau

This graphic novel is in my pantheon of best stories ever, but I hadn't read it in ages. It's the story of Maki, a one-armed citizen of the Inca empire who becomes entangled in a complicated spiritual and political web when the sun suddenly dissapears, plunging the Inca empire in darkness. It's wonderfully evocative, poetic and just plain thrilling.
