Neal Brennan, 3 Mics
This comedy special was recommended by a friend, and I'm glad he did. It's an unusual format: there are three mics on stage and Brennan goes from one to the other, doing different things in front of each mic. The first is devoted to jokes and one liners, the third to stand-up and the second to public therapy, for lack of a better word. As such it's not always funny, but it's always deep, and mics 2 and 3 (at least) frequently feed off each other. It's intertaining, incisive, cynical, and just generally good.
