In Person by the Bobby Timmons Trio
Timmons is one of the unsung greats of 60s and 70s jazz. His claim to fame (I guess) is writing Moanin' and interpreting it as part of Art Blakey's Messengers, but his solo (well, trio) stuff is really interesting. There's a great modernity about his approach to rythm and his writing. In this live date it's very much on display, a very cool live record.
