Beastars vol1 by Paru Itagaki
I went on a bit of a manga spree on my last European trip. This was recommended to me by a salesperson who seemed to share some tastes with me. In a nutshell, this is the same pitch as Zootopia, but darker. It's set in a college, and carnivores and herbivores are supposed to live in peace, but then a herbivore gets assasinated. Our main character, Legoshi, struggles ton put his animalistic urges in check, and is immediately suspect. To be honest, I wasn't hooked. The characters are not very fleshed out and neither are they likeable. It's decent, but not great. According to some reviewers, it gets more intricate and engrossing later on, but I'm not sure I have the patience.
