Descender: Tin Stars by Nguyen and Lemire
It's not everyday you read a science-fiction comic that manages to be both endearing and intellectually stimulating. The first TPB of Descender is just that. A recent galaxy wide robotic insurgency has threatened the peace as different cultures that had developed paths to cohabitation find themselves at odds again. When a companion robot of a model no longer made comes back online in an devastated mining asteroid, several factions race to secure that last surviving prototype. Engrossing and thrilling, I'll be ordering the next TPBs as soon as I can afford them.
